 Quiet Victorian House

The house is in a quiet street with expansive views of the neighbourhood and ocean from every level. At the front it is a classic terrace house but the back has been renovated to take advantage of the sea breezes. As you enter, there is a small sitting room with fireplace and separate dining room. The dining room opens on to a deck. The decor is full of charm, filled with art and antiques collected on our travels. You walk through to a modern kitchen with dishwasher/microwave and this also opens on to a deck covered in flowering vines with table and chairs for dining. Both decks are fabulous for reading or sunbaking. Upstairs, there is a huge bedroom with queen size bed and pull-out single mattress. This bedroom also has a large verandah which catches the north sun. It has a TV/DVD/stereo/library of books. Next to this a smaller bedroom with a queen-size bed and separate study, again with great ocean views. A small new bathroom is virtually ensuite. (Shower and hip bath. ) On the lower level of the house is another sitting room with TV, DVD/cable and fireplace. This could be adapted to a bedroom with airbed if necessary.
