Our home is a large country estate located approximately 30 minutes from Canada’ s capital city, Ottawa Ontario. The historic house is 4, 000 square feet (450 sq m) and consists of a renovated stone section 155 years old, (quite old by North American standards) , and a new section which is 19 years old. The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The Master Bedroom with its own fireplace, overlooks the gardens and pool. On the main floor, is a large family room with a fireplace and big screen (53” ) home theater system as well as a living room with beautiful deep windowsills. The large country kitchen has a solarium eating area and a breakfast bar. It is fully equipped with counter top stove, built-in wall oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Other rooms include a formal dining room, an office with computer and internet hook up and a games room with a pool table.
