Our quiet tree-lined neighbourhood is 15 minutes from downtown Montreal, with shops and parks within walking distance. Three minutes from our house is a small shopping street with a fine bakery, fruit store, video store, medical clinic, etc. And a bicycle path runs through the neighbourhood if you enjoy cycling. (We’ve got bikes in the garage.) There are also several bus routes nearby.
Montreal is an amazing city to visit at any time of year. It is especially well known for its wonderful summer festivals including the International Jazz Festival, the Comedy and Film festivals and even a Food festival for gourmets!
Both Ottawa, Canada’s capital, and historic Quebec City are only a few hours away. With the Laurentians to the north and the Eastern Townships, Montreal is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Canada.
