Small, simply elegant european style beachouse named Casa Mirador located on the Pacific coast in Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Costa Rica. The house is on a cliff overlooking the sea and Manuel Antonio National Park. There are breathtaking views from every window and terrace. The house has two bedrooms, one bath with an additional outside shower. There is a large terrace downstairs and a smaller private terrace off master bedroom upstairs. Caretakers live on premises in a separate house. The house is fully equipped (including telephone and microwave) and includes maid service, but no TV or VCR. There is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans in every room and somewhat constant breeze are more than enough to keep the house pleasantly cool.
The house shares the neighborhood with three of the most luxurious hotels in Manuel Antonio, but one doesn't see them as they are hidden within the jungle. The beachouse is a ten minute walk downhill to the sea. Along the way you see monkeys, sloths, iguanas, birds and butterflies. There are several excellent restaurants and nearby. One feels pleasantly isolated by the jungle and the views but there is activity and nightlife close by if you want it.
