The warm Mexican climate allows us to live outdoors and we enjoy sitting in the garden underneath the 100 year old Mesquite tree surrounded with tropical plants, or watching the sunset from the patio. The house is designed and built by Mexican architect Barbosa in the style of an old Spanish colonial with a contemporary look. It has stone walls, terrracotta tiled floors, antique carved canterra stone cornices, canterra gas fireplace and 12 foot ceilings with wooden beams.
Our home faces West towards town with views from terraces on all three levels. The master and guest bedrooms are located in a separate wing with their own bathrooms/whirlpool baths and wooden doors that open onto terraces. On the first floor is a separate guest room with a bathroom and its own entrance.
