It's in very good repair and is tastefully decorated. The house has a light, spacious feel to it and also has a very pleasant south-facing back garden which, though not particularly large, has two tabled seating areas and a pond with a fountain. In the summer it's virtually another room in the house. The house itself has, on the ground floor, a living room, a large kitchen/diner, a hall/library and a room backing onto the garden which doubles as a study and occasional dining room on special occasions. On the first floor are two bedrooms (one with double bed and one kid's room with one bed plus a pull-out) and two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. Half a floor further up is a small workshop room, currently crammed with art materials, and on the top floor are two more bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two singles.There is space at the front for off-street parking for a car, though we rarely bother using it as there's no need. Our side of town is very hilly and there's a great view across the whole city from the top floor. Lots of hot air balloons fly over us on summer evenings!
