Our cottage is a single story building, parts of which date back to c1830. Built from local limestone and extended over the years. It is situated at the end of 2/3 mile of unmade (but well maintained!) track. Accommodation includes: an entrance porch which leads into our main 27ft sitting room. complete with log burner set into a natural stone fireplace. Good selection of books including art, antiques, natural history, cookery etc and tv. Separate dining room, large (17ft) fully fitted modern kitchen with range cooker, microwave, washing machine and drier, tv, table and chairs for dining, some full height windows give views of garden and fells and make for a very light, sunny room. We have 2 double bedrooms, one with roof beams and en-suite bathroom, one with windows on 3 sides.
