We bought our home in the summer of 2003 and moved from England to Portugal in November 2003.The house is situated half a mile from the city walls of Óbidos,and approx 3 miles from the town of Caldas da Rainha.Lisbon is approx. 50 minutes away by car.The house is 10 years old and we have totally refurbished the inside as well as re-designing the patios and garden and installing a pool.
We have a good size kitchen with oven,halogen cook-topdishwasherfridge/freezer,microwave and breakfast bar; the counter-tops are granite.There is also a small laundry room off the kitchen with washer and drier.Leading from the kitchen is a sun-room which acts as a dining/seating area and has views to the garden.
