Our home is a two-bedroom flat (80 m2) with an office, sunny living room and terrace (30 m2) . Probably the main advantage we have to offer is a very central location for anyone one who'd like to visit Catalonia and have a home base.
La Garriga is a small town (population 15, 000) close to Barcelona. In the 19th century, it used to be a place where wealthy people from Barcelona would come to spend their summer holidays. This means there are a lot of beautiful homes in the Modernisme style (a particular Catalan variant of Art Nouveau) . Most of these impressive houses are to be found on el Passeig, a wide tree-lined pedestrian avenue that runs from the centre of town out to a children’s park on the edge of town. We live very close to el Passeig -- the route we usually take to get to the train station.
